SHORYU Ramen Westgate, Oxford

Bluecrow Projects were delighted to work with Maja and Blenheim design on yet another Shoryu Ramen project.

Built in the recently developed Westgate Shopping Centre, Oxford, the first thing you appreciate is the fully glazed shopfront allowing passers-by to see the depth of quality, design and workmanship within.

Once inside you are greeted with many raw materials ranging from the solid oak flooring to the high solid oak bench tables and chairs.

Other key features included were the traditional paper lanterns and cloud-like feature pendant lights incorporated in the lighting design.

An outstanding split face granite bar is incorporated in front of the open kitchen, allowing diners to sit at a 6m long bespoke London Plain timber leaner bar while watching their Ramen being prepared.

Blenheim Design have again excelled utilizing hard, soft and simple elements of traditional Japanese design, with the Bluecrow Team bringing all these elements together to produce what is the tenth branch in the Shoryu Ramen empire.
