Blanchette East
Brick Lane

Blanchette East, Brick Lane, which opened its doors in August 2016, is the second outpost by brothers Maxime, Malik and Yannis Alary. Lovingly named after their mother Blanche, the new restaurant celebrates everything that guests have come to love about our Soho bistro but with a few distinct variations.

Unlike the original there’s beautiful marble countertops, wood and brass furniture, a central oak fireplace and a huge Belle Epogue-style painting dominating the main wall behind the bar.

Upon walking past the hanging plants which, are reflecting in the antique mirrored walls above more exquisite marble surfaces, you make way towards the private dinning area. This delightful room can be seen enveloped in a hand painted mural by artist Aldo Gigli, reminiscent of a Picasso sketch from his years spent on the French coast at Antibes.
