The Roxy
Night Club

At the beginning of August, Bluecrow started an ambitious programme for the Roxy nightclub under the design input of Design LSM and DT practice. A refurbishment including a complete lighting re-design, over cladding of existing walls, tiling and decorating throughout, new banquette and removable seating, sand and stain of the dance floor and a complete graphics revamp throughout.

On Sunday the team stripped out existing fitting and fixtures and set the stair scaffold up ready to bond the existing brick work to allow for a new tiled finish. Meanwhile the electricians kept themselves busy second fixing new lighting throughout the ceiling and a new DJ lighting system.

Neon battens were fitting to the wall on timber blocks with powder coated metal shrouds hiding any wiring and unruly clubbers. The front of the bar and the entrance lobby were fitted with a new low iron toughened glass feature that has vinyl’s fitted both sides illuminated by neon battens.
