Neals Yard, Covent Garden

Bluecrow worked with designers Gundry & Ducker again to refurbish what was Jacob The Angel in Neals Yard, Covent Garden. The project consisted of stripping out the existing area before starting the refit, with some materials recycled within the new project, so not to make waste.

Due to the small space within, the back of house was reorganised to maximise the space available, therefor creating more room for their customers when inside. This consisted recycling shelving and adding brass trims, moving existing utilities, new stainless steel kitchen surfaces and extract, tiling and decoration throughout.

A wonderful new bespoke antique zinc worktop was made and fitted underneath the hand crafted gantry which in turn had reeded glass and antique oak panelling.

More images to follow.

Externally fitted to the shopfront were heaters and lights up above the new zinc window leaner bar. A lovely touch for customers waiting to enter The Barbary, next door.
