Crosstown Doughnuts – their very first permanent store outside of London since Crosstown began in 2014, is located in Cambridge and we couldn’t be happier being their main contractor. Crosstown will offer a full range of their award-winning doughnuts as well as handmade cookies, ice cream and speciality coffee.

the project ran smoothly starting with an empty shell with a few small minor strip out items before the works started creating what is now a stunning, fresh and contemporary fit-out. A new floor was laid throughout the shop followed by banquette seating and a multitude of bespoke joinery.

All joinery was made by Bluecrow joinery, from the shelving to the front and back counters. Two front serving counters consisted of one for doughnuts and Ice cream, and the second counter dedicated to their coffee. Both counters incorporating fridges, cupboards, serving areas with a special doughnut housing UV bonded glass display case.

Tiling to the rear walls had to match the front customer facing counter, which was tiled all the way around with an addition of a  heat branded logo for all to see. The key feature within this project was the steel doughnut display with glass dome tops as you enter the shop. This really does show off their award winning selection.
