Happy Face Pizza & Supermax Bar

A new vibe has arrived at Kings Cross, courtesy of the team behind Spiritland.

A vibrant new pizzeria and basement bar, Happy Face and Supermax are the new kids on the block in the rapidly developing Kings Cross Estate, built directly under screen 2 of the Everyman cinema, Happy Face is now serving high quality pizza from their 6’ diameter 2 tonne pizza oven.

Both kitchen counter and central bar are clad in terracotta triangular tiles and topped in stunning green marble with matching steel gantries. The restaurant features an 8 metre bifold screen allowing the space to be opened up into the main building foyer creating a truly integrated space.

An elegant pink staircase leads revellers past the steel caged beer cellar to the 70s inspired Supermax bar. Framed in deep red leather banquette and deep red velvet curtains, the stunning bar is constructed in Dzek Marmoreal Black Terrazzo while the shelving to the rear is in rich Sapele.

All of this cleverly lit to provide a real nightclub feel complete with 2 mirror balls and a sound system to die for.
