The Laundry
Brixton

Bluecrow started work on the old former steam laundry in Brixton, London. This was the first venture with 3Stories Design and a wonderful one at that.

Teaming up with Socius Projects, the task was to create a new space for an all-day Bistro and Wine Shop in the beautiful old Edwardian wash house. Perhaps the biggest obstacle was forming a new feature piece staircase within the existing structural layout at the centre of the restaurant working within building regulations.

Key materials used throughout the project included all bespoke joinery from Bluecrow Joinery themselves with the bar being the main feature as you set you eyes upon this on entering the large glass entrance.

“Having had the pleasure to be introduced to Bluecrow via our wicked Design Team 3 Stories, we embarked on a fast-paced project that required a team that was tenacious, communicative and able to act quickly. The restaurant has far surpassed my expectations, in particular the incredible attention to detail on the joinery work”
