The Pudding Stop – Harpenden
Bluecrow undertook their first project with The Pudding Stop, located in Harpenden, St Albans.
Working closely with design team Code Studios, Bluecrow embarked on a complete fit-out of this project from the Microcement floor, tiling, plastering, electric etc, right through to a full extraction/air-conditioning system.
The Microcement floor is a cement-based render applied by hand to create a seamless surface finish, similar to what you would expect to see with polished concrete. Due to the process of hand trowelling, you can never replicate the finish, making it very unique. A perfect floor finish for anyone after a seamless contemporary look, and an alternative to timber or tiled floors.
Back of house consisted of hygiene wall cladding with an Altro cove formed flooring for safety, vinyl drop in hygienic ceilings, tiled walls and multideck fridge enclosures.
the bespoke Joinery within crafted by our workshop included, the main counter and pudding station, solid oak window leaner table, bespoke solid oak banquette seating including upholstered seat and rear pads. An oak veneered condiment station with a solid oak top, oak shelving and an oak framed screen.
With the internal shop-fit nearing completion, the shopfront itself was brought to life with newly formed facia panels and pilaster details.
