Welcome to BUNKERS at The Brewery, Romford.
The teams at Bluecrow combined forces again, in creating this surreal, dystopian-inspired design which has huge hidden depth…It’s all about discovery as you hunker down in the BUNKER…
With two never before seen insane crazy golf courses, deck shuffleboard, electro-darts, traditional shuffleboard, pool, ping pong, VR gaming, beer pong and much more – A real pleasure to have been the main contractor.
Transformed from an empty shell to a 22,000 sqft surreal dystopian world, all three teams at Bluecrow worked together with Leading Design & Architects – Shed Design and Adventure Leisure Limited to create the nostalgic past.
Bespoke joinery including counters, bars, leaner tables, banquette seating, 38mm ply golf holes, wall cladding and much more; with a huge amount of bespoke fabricated and powder coated metalworks ranging from all golf holes, cage screens, frame works, bar facade’s, bar gantries and more.
The dystopian districts within Bunkers offer games such as crazy golf, electro-darts, pool, ping pong and shuffleboard as well as serving cocktails and food. This expansive pixelated gaming world has been designed to reset, recalibrate, and refuel people as they enjoy the immersive experiences on offer within the BUNKERS.
Lines of colourful LED lights channel people around the venue and to the centre-piece – the BUNKER bar with the word ‘Bunker’ written in Japanese above it. Lighting design is an important aspect of the overall experience.
